Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of quantitative parameters of cerebral CT perfusion imaging(CTP)in the progression of transient ischemic attack(TIA)to acute cerebral infarction(ACI)in patients. Methods 80 TIA patients were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into an occurrence group(12 cases,15.00%)and a non-occurrence group(68 cases,85.00%)based on whether they progressed to ACI within 7 days after onset. All TIA patients underwent CTP exami-nation upon admission, and CTP quantitative parameters were recorded. The predictive value of CTP quantitative parameters for the progression of TIA patients to ACI was explored through receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves. Results The cere-bral blood flow(CBF)and cerebral blood volume(CBV)of patients in the occurrence group were lower than those in the non-occurrence group, and the average transit time(MTT)and peak time(TTP)were higher than those in the non-occurrence group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).ROC curve was drawn, and the results showed that the area under the curve(AUC)values of CTP quantitative parameters(CBF,CBV,MTT,TTP)alone and in combination for predicting the pro-gression of TIA patients to ACI were 0.699,0.725,0.704,0.668,and 0.896,respectively.The value of CTP quantitative param-eter combined prediction was the highest. Conclusion CTP quantitative parameters have high predictive power for the progres-sion of TIA patients to ACI.TIA patients with decreased CBF and CBV,increased MTT and TTP levels have a higher risk of de-veloping ACI,and clinical attention should be paid to this.
