Abstract:Objective To explore value of MRI-DWI in the short-term efficacy evaluation of stereotactic ablation radio-therapy(SRT)for brain metastases from non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods 116 NSCLC patients with brain me-tastases were selected from our hospital, all of whom underwent SRT.According to the efficacy after 2 months of radiotherapy, they were divided into an effective group of 62 cases and an ineffective group of 54 cases. The changes in ADC values before and after radiotherapy were compared between the two groups, and their predictive value for the efficacy of NSCLC patients with brain metastases was analyzed. Results Compared with the ineffective group, the effective group had a higher difference in ADC before and after radiotherapy at b=1 000,2 000,4 000,and 8 000 s/mm2(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the difference in ADC before and after radiotherapy and the AUC for predicting the efficacy of NSCLC brain metastasis patients with b=1 000,2 000,4 000,and 8 000 s/mm2 were 0.743,0.818,0.657,0.736,and 0.954,respectively.The sensitivity was 61.3%,77.4%,45.2%,61.3%,and 88.7%,and the specificity was 81.5%,70.4%,96.3%,75.9%,and 90.7%,respectively.Conclusion The combined measurement of differences in ADC values before and after radiotherapy using multiple MRI-DWI can improve the predictive value of SRT treatment efficacy in NSCLC patients with brain metastases.
