Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of magnetic resonance perfusion imaging(MR-PWI)in the early diag-nosis of asymptomatic neurosyphilis. Methods 168 patients with asymptomatic neurosyphilis admitted to our hospital were se-lected as the experimental group, another 30 healthy individuals admitted to our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group, the MR-PWI examination was performed in all cases, and the parameters in terms of local cerebral blood flow(rGBF),local cerebral blood volume(rCBV),mean transit time(MTT),and peak time(TTP)were obtained for analysis. Results The rGBF of frontal lobe(bilateral),parietal lobe(bilateral),frontal hippocampus(bilateral)and basal ganglia(bilateral)were compared between two groups(P>0.05).In the experimental group, the rCBV,MTT and TTP in the frontal(bilat-eral),parietal(bilateral),hippocampal(bilateral)and basal ganglia(bilateral)regions were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).In the diagnosis of asymptomatic neurosyphilis, the accuracy of MR-PWI was 96.97%,the specificity was 93.33%,and the sensitivity was 97.62%.After treatment, the rGBF in each area of the experimental group was higher than that be-fore treatment, while, the rCBV,MTT and TTP were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion In the early diagno-sis of asymptomatic neurosyphilis,MR-PWI examination has good application value, which can be used in the evaluation of efficacy.
