Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of chest CT thin-layer reconstruction in the diagnosis of refractory Myco-plasma pneumoniae pneumonia(RMPP)in children. Methods Clinical data of 100 children with MPP were retrospectively collected, including 50 cases of RMPP and 50 cases of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(GMPP).All patients underwent chest CT thin section scanning, and Kappa consistency analysis was used to determine the consistency between chest CT thin sec-tion scanning and diagnostic criteria, and to analyze its diagnostic efficacy. Results Out of 100 pediatric patients,61 had le-sions in the upper right lobe,59 in the upper left lobe,32 in the middle right lobe,60 in the lower right lobe, and 37 in the lower left lobe. The incidence of right middle lobe lesions, left upper lobe lesions, left lower lobe lesions, and multilobular le-sions in children with RMPP was significantly higher than that in children with GMPP,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Out of 100 pediatric patients,4 had pleural effusion. As for the disease density, pure ground glass density was found in 23 cases, consolidation and ground glass mixed in 24 cases, and consolidation in 53 cases. For the CT findings, air broncho-gram was found in 37 cases and thickening of bronchial vascular bundles in 36 cases.Children with RMPP showed significantly higher rates of consolidation, air bronchogram sign, and bronchial vascular bundle thickening compared to those with GMPP.The density of ground glass was lower in the RMPP group than in the GMPP group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).According to Kappa consistency test, there was a high degree of consistency between chest CT thin-layer scanning and diagnostic criteria(Kappa=0.800,P<0.05).The accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of chest CT thin-layer scanning in diag-nosing RMPP were 86.00%(86/100),88.00%(44/50),and 84.00%(42/50),respectively.Conclusion Chest CT thin-layer reconstruction has good diagnostic value for RMPP.
