Abstract:Objective To investigate diagnostic value of quantitative analysis of pericoronary adipose tissue(PCAT)water attenuation index(WAI)for coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods A total of 134 patients who underwent coronary CT angi-ography(CCTA)and CT fractional flow reserve(CT-FFR)were selected. The Deepwise Workstation PCAT analysis software was employed to automatically delineate PCAT around left anterior descending artery from CCTA and to calculate WAI.Partial correlation analysis was conducted based on controlled variable of CT-FFR to study the correlation between WAI-PCAT and WAI-nonPCAT.Results The Pearson correlation coefficient between WAI-PCAT and WAI-nonPCAT was 0.709,P<0.05 and partial correlation coefficient was 0.708,P<0.05.Conclusion Under the premise of controlling for CT-FFR,a strong correlation is ob-served between WAI-PCAT and WAI-nonPCAT.WAI-PCAT can achieve a quantitative analysis of inflammatory status of PCAT,which can serve as an imaging biomarker for diagnosing CHD.
