Abstract:Objective To analyze the CT and MRI imaging features and clinicopathological data of primary pancreatic carci-noma sarcoma(PCS).Methods 8 patients with PCS were selected to analyze their prognosis by CT and MRI imaging features and clinicopathological data. Results 5 cases of enhanced MRI scanning showed that the tumor was round or irregular. When the lesion infiltrated into the surrounding tissues, the borders were not clear or distinct, maximum warp was 6.8 cm,showing hy-pointense on T1WI and hyperintense on T2WI and DWI.After intravenous contrast scanning, the arterial phase showed limited diffusion and peripheral margins, and the portal and delayed phases showed progressive uneven enhancement, all of which were hyperintense.MRCP showed that the bile and pancreatic ducts were dilated to varying degrees in 6 patients.CT and contrast-enhanced scans were performed in 3 cases, and the maximum diameter of the mass was 7.6 cm,which was cystic solid or irregu-lar mass, the solid part was low-density shadow in the non-contrast scan, and the solid part of the three-stage dynamic enhance-ment scan showed partial enhancement or obvious enhancement. Conclusion Pancreatic carcinosarcoma is manifested as cys-tic or cystic solid mass on imaging, some of which can occur cystic necrosis,CT and MRI still lack very typical imaging features, and attention should be paid to distinguish it from other pancreatic tumors during diagnosis.
