Abstract:Objective To explore the evaluation value of echocardiography in Kawasaki disease(KD)with coronary artery lesions(CAL).Methods A total of 62 KD patients were selected. All patients underwent echocardiography examination.Re-ceiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves for the subjects were drawn to explore the evaluation value of echocardiography for KD combined with CAL and CAL classification. Results Among 62 KD children, there were 28 cases combined with CAL(oc-currence group),and the results showed that LVEDD,LVESD,E/A,left main coronary artery(LMCA)coronary artery diam-eter,right coronary artery(RCA)proximal coronary artery diameter, and the area under the curve(AUC)values for combined evaluation of KD and CAL were 0.763,0.756,0.778,0.721,0.730,and 0.890,respectively,with the highest combined evalua-tion value. After evaluation, among the 28 children with KD combined with CAL,there were 12 cases of coronary artery dilation,11 cases of small coronary artery aneurysm, and 5 cases of medium-sized coronary artery aneurysm. The levels of LVEDD and LVESD,the inner diameter of LMCA coronary artery and the inner diameter of RCA proximal coronary artery in KD children with different CAL types were compared, with medium coronary artery aneurysm>small coronary artery aneurysm>coronary artery dilatation. The E/A values of KD children with different CAL types were compared, indicating the middle coronary artery aneu-rysm<small coronary artery aneurysm<coronary artery dilatation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion Echocardiographic parameters, including LVEDD,LVESD,E/A,LMCA coronary diameter, and RCA proximal coro-nary diameter, can evaluate KD combined with CAL and CAL subtypes, and the evaluation value of combined index is signifi-cant.
