Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of enhanced MRI scanning(DCE-MRI)combined with diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(DWI)in the diagnosis of duodenal adenocarcinoma. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 84 cases of duodenal adenocarcinoma confirmed by pathological examination admitted. All patients underwent DCE-MRI and DWI examination. Then,we observed the imaging findings of DCE-MRI and DWI and explored the diagnostic re-sults and efficacy of DCE-MRI and DWI in duodenal adenocarcinoma. Results DCE-MRI showed that duodenal adenocarci-noma had soft tissue mass and the enhanced scan showed uneven enhancement.Pathological findings were used as the gold stan-dard.Among the 84 cases of duodenal adenocarcinoma,46 cases were malignant, accounting for 54.76%(46/84)and 38 cases were benign, accounting for 45.24%(38/84).The ROC curve showed that the sensitivity of 91.67%,specificity 94.44%,accu-racy 92.86%,positive predictive value 95.65%and negative predictive value 89.47%of DCE-MRI combined with DWI in the di-agnosis of duodenal adenocarcinoma were higher than those of single detection(P<0.05).Conclusion DCE-MRI combined with DWI can obtain more clinical diagnostic information and clearly show the lesion area.In addition,DCE-MRI combined with DWI can improve the detection rate of early clinical diagnosis of duodenal adenocarcinoma, which has high clinical diagnostic value.
