Abstract:Objective To explore the feasibility of combined T1-Mapping and T2-Mapping in assessing renal function in chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods Eighty-one CKD patients were included, and all patients underwent T2WI,T1-Map-ping,and T2-Mapping scans and biochemical tests for renal function. The patients were divided into three groups(mild,moder-ate,and severe)based on the estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR).The renal T1 and T2 values were measured and the dif-ferences between groups and their correlation with eGFR were compared. Results There were differences in renal cortex,me-dulla T1 values, and medulla T2 values among the three groups(F=8.353,9.431,10.090;all P<0.05).Renal cortex T1 value, medulla T1 value, and medulla T2 were correlated with eGFR(r=-0.409,-0.389,0.372;all P<0.05).The combined renal cor-tex,medulla T1 values, and medulla T2 values showed the best diagnostic efficiency in distinguishing mild from moderate and se-vere CKD(AUC=0.869,P<0.001).Conclusion T1-Mapping and T2-Mapping have certain reference value for assessing CKD renal function;the combined T1-Mapping and T2-Mapping can improve the diagnostic efficiency of distinguishing mild from mod-erate and severe CKD.
