Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of Revolution CT dual low-dose combined with adaptive statistical it-erative reconstruction V(ASiR-V)technology in head and neck CT angiography(CTA)of overweight and obese individuals. Methods The clinical data of 80 overweight and obese patients who underwent head and neck CTA examination were retrospec-tively collected.According to the different examination methods, they were divided into 40 cases in the conventional group(re-ceiving conventional dose head and neck CTA examination)and 40 cases in the double low group(receiving head and neck CTA examination based on Revolution CT double low dose combined with ASiR-V technology). The subjective score, image quality, radiation dose and iodine intake of the subjects were compared between the two groups. Results The subjective score distribu-tion of the two groups of images was compared, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The CT values of the aortic arch, right internal carotid artery, left internal carotid artery, right middle cerebral artery, left middle cerebral artery, and basilar artery in the double low group were higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).There was no statistically sig-nificant difference in signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR)between the two groups(P>0.05).The dose length product(DLP),effective radiation dose(ED)and iodine intake of the double low group were lower than those of the con-ventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Revolution CT dual low-dose combined with ASiR-V technology in head and neck CTA of overweight and obese individuals is beneficial for reducing ED and iodine intake in the subjects, and will not reduce the image quality of head and neck vascular images.
