Abstract:Objective To summarize the key points of safe cooperation for in-hospital CT examination of patients with extra-corporeal membrane pulmonary oxygenation combined with mechanical ventilation. Methods The data of 68 patients who un-derwent in-hospital CT examination with extracorporeal membrane pulmonary oxygenation combined with mechanical ventilation were retrospectively analyzed.Safe cooperation included pre-examination preparation, monitoring during transfer, cooperation during examination, observation, and management of adverse events. Results All 68 patients were completed the CT examina-tion,and the image quality was up to standard.11 cases of adverse events occurred during the whole examination process, with an incidence rate of 16.18%,including 3 cases of transfer personnel-related adverse events(27.27%),2 cases of transfer equipment-related adverse events(18.18%),and 6 cases of patient-related adverse events(54.55%).As timely and effective ob-servation and management were taken,no serious adverse consequences occurred. Conclusion The whole process of standard-izedsafe cooperation process can reduce the incidence of adverse events in the process of in-hospital CT examination in patients with extracorporeal membrane lung oxygenation combined with mechanical ventilation, which is an important guarantee for pa-tient safety, successful CT examination, and picture quality.
