Valuation of spiral CT water contrast examination in the imaging diagnosis of gastric cancer

Abstract：Objective To analyze the application value of spiral CT water contrast imaging in gastric cancer examination.Method Patients admitted to the gastrointestinal surgery department of our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 who were diagnosed with gastric cancer through surgical pathology were included in the study group.According to the double-blind grouping principle,they were sequentially included in the control group(n=40,gas barium double contrast examination)and the study group(n=40,spiral CT water contrast examination).The accuracy of the two methods in the diagnosis of gastric cancer was evaluated,and the detection of lesions of gastric mucosal,soft tissue and surrounding tissues were compared in the two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the study group had a higher accuracy in diagnosing gastric cancer(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the proportion of mucosal,soft tissue and surrounding tissue lesions detected in the study group was higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Spiral CT water contrast imaging has significant advantages in the imaging diag-nosis of gastric cancer.
