Clinical value of radionuclide cardiac blood pool imaging in evaluating left ventricular function in patients with coro-nary heart disease and heart failure

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical value of radionuclide cardiac blood pool imaging in evaluating left ventricular function in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure.Methods A total of 89 patients with coronary heart disease were selected,including 48 males and 41 females,with an average age of(70.0±11.4)years.36 patients were divided into coronary heart disease and heart failure group,and the remaining 53 patients were divided into coronary heart disease group.All patients underwent nuclide cardiac blood pool imaging.We compared the levels of left ventricular function parameters LVEF,PER,PFR,MFR between the two groups of patients,and analyzed the correlation between the levels of left ventricular function parameters in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure.Results Compared with the coronary heart disease group,the patients in the coronary heart disease and heart failure group were older and significantly increased in diabetes,chronic renal insufficiency and BNP levels(P<0.05,P<0.01).There was no significant difference in gender,smoking,hypertension,hyper-lipidemia,stroke,and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease between the two groups(P>0.05).The levels of left ventricular function parameters,i.e.,LVEF,PER,PFR,and MFR,in the coronary heart failure group were significantly lower than those in the coronary heart disease group(P<0.01,P<0.001),and there was a significant correlation between the levels of LVEF,PER,PFR,and MFR in the heart failure group(P<0.01,P<0.001).Conclusion Radionuclide cardiac blood pool imaging can effectively assess the level of left ventricular function parameters in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure,providing early guiding value for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
