The value of duct abnormal signal on breast MRI in differential diagnosis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the value of duct abnormal signal among MR imaging-detected breast lesions biop-sied.Methods Retrospective review was performed on 172 lesions that had breast MR imaging and pathological results.Ac-cording to the pathological results,they were divided into three groups,i.e.,groups of fibroadenoma and adenosis,granuloma-tous lobular mastitis,and breast cancer.T1 pre-scan duct high signal and ductal enhancement were reviewed and recorded.The positive rates of the three groups were observed and subjected to statistics analysis using the chi-square test.T1 pre-scan high sig-nal and ductal enhancement were optimized for three groups using logistic regression analysis.Results For fibroadenoma and adenosis,GLM,and BC differentiation,ductal enhancement was a key factor for predicting granulomatous,wherein,OR was 10.0 for fibroadenoma and adenosis,and OR was 4.4 for breast cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion Ductal enhancement are predic-tive of GLM.
