Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between HRCT imaging features of pure ground glass nodules in lung and the new classification of lung adenocarcinoma pathology, and to evaluate the predictive value of HRCT on the new classification of pure ground glass density lung adenocarcinoma pathology. Methods 123 patients with pure ground glass nodules of lung admitted to our hospital from December 2015 to April 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. HRCT scans were performed on them. The patients with different classifications were compared in terms of lobulation sign, burr sign, regular margin, bronchial inflation sign, pleural indentation sign, uniform density, regular shape, tumor boundary and vascular bundle. We investigated the correlation between HRCT pulmonary pure ground glass nodule imaging features and the new pathological classification of lung adenocarcinoma. Results There were significant differences among the four new types in leaf-dividing sign, burr sign, regular margin, bronchoinflation sign, pleural indentation sign, uniform density, regular shape, tumor boundary, and vascular bundle. There were significant differences among the IA group>MIA group>AIS group>AAH group (P<0.05). The four continuous counting variables describing the size and density of lesions, such as the maximum cross-sectional area, head-foot length, actual average density, and relative average density, were significantly correlated with the new pathological classification group (P<0.05). ConclusionHRCT performance of pure ground glass nodules has a good correlation with the new classification. The maximum cross-sectional area, head-foot length, actual average density and relative average density are important predictors for judging the new classification of pure ground glass nodules. This method is worthy of application and popularization.
