Abstract:Objective To analyse the diagnostic value of low-dose spiral CT in early lung adenocarcinoma. Methods 86 patients with lung adenocarcinoma who received low-dose spiral CT examination were selected as observation group and the others were all received common-dose spiral CT examination as control group from October 2016 to October 2017. The pathological results, lung cancer detection rate, nodule detection rate, image quality, radiation amount between the two groups were all compared and analyzed. Results There were 34 (39.53%) patients with early lung adenocarcinoma in the observation group, and 30 cases (34.88%) in the control group according to the pathological results, and there was no statistical difference between the two groups, that is, P>0.05. It was the same to the detection rate of lung adenocarcinoma, which, was 32.56% (28/86) in the observation group and 25.58% (22/86) in the control group. While the nodule detection rate in the observation group was 54.65% (47/86), significantly higher than that in the control group 37.21% (32/86) (P<0.05). The excellent quality rate of the observation group was 65.12% (56/86), significantly less than that of the control group 82.56% (71/86) (P<0.05), while, there was no statistical difference between the two groups in the bad or good quality rates, that is, P>0.05. The DLP, CTDIw, MS, radiation dose in the observation group were all statistically less than the control group, that is, P<0.05. Conclusion Low-dose spiral CT and common-dose CT have similar detection rates and proper image quality, besides, the former has low radiation, which is less harmful to human body. Therefore, low-dose spiral CT can be the first choice for diagnosis of early lung adenocarcinoma.
