Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of four-dimensional space-time correlation imaging (STIC) in fetal heart screening. Methods From January 2015 to January 2017, 600 patients with fetal heart ultrasound in our hospital were examined with conventional two-dimensional ultrasound and STIC. We observed the abnormal diagnosis results of different methods in the fetal heart structure and compared with the cardiac pathological results of termination of pregnancy and postnatal echocardiography or partial surgery results. Results All 531 patients received pre-operative ultrasound to obtain qualified cardiac volume data. Combined with follow-up data, we found 69 cases of cardiac abnormalities, 95.37% of cardiac abnormalities was detected by STIC technique, and 91.67% of hearts was detected conventional two-dimensional echocardiography. The abnormal detection rate was not statistically significant (χ2=1.218, P=0.217). A total of 315 abnormal cardiac structures were detected in 108 cases of cardiac abnormalities. The coincidence rate of STIC technique was 97.46%, and the coincidence rate of 2 D ultrasound was 75.56%. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ2=71.938, P=0.000). Conclusion Compared with conventional echocardiography, STIC technology has more accurate and more consistent advantages in the diagnosis of fetal heart malformation.
