Abstract:Objective To evaluate the value of 3D whole-brain pseudo-continuous arterial spin labeling imaging in diagnosis of non-enhanced cerebellar gliomas and cerebellar infarction. Methods 3D-ASL examination results were retrospectively analyzed in 23 patients with clinically diagnosed cerebellar lesions, including 9 cases of gliomas and 14 cases of infarcion. All patients were performed 3D-ASL scanning with measurement of CBF values. Results All 23 patients showed long T1 long T2 and non-enhanced abnormal signal. 14 cases with cerebellar infarction showed hypo-perfusion in 3D-ASL. 9 cases with glioma showed hyper-perfusion.The CBF values were higher in the gliomas than in the infarction. Conclusion 3D-ASL imaging technique is of great value in differential diagnosis of non-enhanced cerebellar gliomas and cerebellar infarction.
