Abstract:Objective To discuss the application value of cardiac contrast enhanced ultrasound in diagnosing apical hypertrophy cardiomyopathy (AHCM). Methods We selected 30 AHCM patients and 30 healthy volunteers as normal control group. All subjects were performed the cardiac contrast enhanced ultrasound. Results Taking MRI diagnosis as the reference standard, the positive coincidence rate of conventional echocardiography in AHCM diagnosis was 80. 8%,and that of cardiac contrast enhanced ultrasound was 100%. There were differences in the left ventricular apical myocardial thickness, left ventricular apical and posterior wall myocardial thickness ratio, left ventricular mass, left atrial volume and E/A between AHCM and normal control (P < 0. 05). There were differences in peak strength of platform (A) ,curve rise slope (β) and A × β between the hypertrophic myocardial segments in AHCM and the corresponding myocardial segments in normal control (P < 0. 05). Conclusion Cardiac contrast enhanced ultrasound can not only increase the diagnosis accuracy but also evaluate myocardial microcirculation perfusion quantitatively.
