The optimal application of Care bolus technique in acute venous sinus thrombosis

Abstract：Objective Comparative study on the application of Care bolus and Test bolus in the treatment of venous sinus thrombosis. Methods The clinical diagnosis of 50 patients with venous sinus thrombosis were under scanning by 3 d CE-MRV sequence. We quantitatively analysed the image contrast to noise ratio,time to peak differences,as well as the intraclass correlation coefficient obtained by Care bolus and Test bolus. Results Compared with the routine Test bolus,the contrast noise ratio between the sagittal sinus and the left and right transverse sinus of the patients with venous sinus thrombosis was measured (131. 91 ± 9. 83) VS (100. 19 ± 11. 30) ,(127. 65 ± 11. 30) VS (104. 25 ± 10. 23) ,(156. 19 ± 14. 04) VS (142. 13 ± 12. 38) ,(P=0. 30,0. 83,0. 74) (P > 0. 05). Conclusion Care bolus is easy to operate and the image quality is stable. Meanwhile,it can avoid the arterial pollution to the greatest extent in the venous sinus thrombosis disease,and provide a set of optimized inspection procedure for the clinic.
