Abstract:Objective To assess the clinical value of 320-row Dynamic Volume CT in detecting intracranial aneurysms. Methods 113 patients with a highly clinical suspicion of intracranial aneurysm underwent 320 row CT angiography ( CTA) . The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 320 row CTA in intracranial aneurysms were calculated, with 3D-DSA or surgical results as standards. Results In a total of 113 patients evaluated with 3D-DSA or surgical results, 110 aneurysms were detected in 86 pa-tients. In contrast, 84 patients were detected 105 aneurysms by 320 row CTA , including 5-false negativity and 5-false positivity. Using 3D DSA or surgical detection of intracranial aneurysm number as the standard, the sensitivity of intracranial aneurysm de-tected by 320 rows CTA was 95. 45%, the specificity was 84. 38%, the accuracy was 92. 96%. Meanwhile, the sensitivity of mi-croaneurysms (≤3 mm) was 85. 3%. Conclusion 320 row dynamic volume CT is of great significance in diagnosis for the size and location of intracranial aneurysms. It is a exact examination to detect intracranial aneurysm. Simultaneously, It may be useful in screening in clinic.
