Abstract:Objective To determine the clinical value of three-dimensional speckle tracking imaging(3D-STI) in the evalua-tion of myocardial strain in patients with stenosis of left anterior descending coronary artery. Methods 60 patients with coronary heart disease as the observation group, they were divided into group A (mild stenosis, stenosis rate less than 50%) with 15 ca-ses,group B (moderate stenosis, stenosis rate between 50% and 75%) with 19 cases, group C(severe stenosis group, stenosis rate between 75% and 100%) with 26 cases according to the severity of left anterior descending artery (LAD) stenosis, 30 healthy volunteers were enrolled as group D (control group, had no significant coronary artery stenosis confirmed by CAG). All patients were analyzed left anterior descending artery regional myocardial segments and left ventricular myocardial global strain pa-rameters by 3D-STI,including the longitudinal strain(LS),radial strain(RS),circumferential strain(CS),global longitudinal strain (GLS),global radial strain(global radial strain,GRS) and global circumferential strain(GCS). The strain parameters of four groups were compared. Results Part of the segments myocardial strain in moderate stenosis group were decreased compared with the control group and the mild stenosis group,GLS was decreased than mild stenosis group,GLS,GRS,GCS were decreased than the control group. Each segment myocardial strain and GLS, GRS, GCS of severe stenosis group were decreased compared with the control group, mild stenosis group and moderate stenosis group. Conclusion 3D-STI can sensitively detect myocardial strain in patients with different degree stenosis of left anterior descending artery.
