Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application of thyroid fine needle aspiration biopsy guided by imaging equip-ment. Methods Thirty patients with thyroid nodules underwent ultrasound-guided thyroid nodule biopsy from August 2015 to August 2016 were enrolled in this study. The results of cytology diagnosis, the type of PTMC cytology and the expression of US-FNAB in clinical changes in the proportion of thyroid disease after application were analyzed. Results The sensitivity of fine needle aspiration biopsy was 84.4%,the specificity was 83.6% and the accuracy was 84.0%. When the diameter of cancer cells was ≥1 cm,69.2%(9/13) of fine needle aspiration biopsy cytology diagnostic results were diagnosed;but when the cancer cell diameter <1,that patients suffering from PTMC,only 27.8%(5/18) of the fine needle biopsy cytology diagnostic results were correct;and compared with not fully applied US-FNAB in 2012,the proportion of thyroid cancer surgery increased by 12.8%,the proportion of benign lesions decreased to 2.8%. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy is an accurate and reliable diagnosis method of thyroid nodules, which improves the detection rate of thyroid disease.
