Abstract:Objective To analyze the CT findings of pulmonary sclerosing pneumocytoma (PSP) and to compare those with pathology, and to improve the diagnostic accuracy. Methods We comducted retrospective analysis of 11 cases of PSP,with both CT scan and surgical pathological confirmation. Routine CT scan and enhanced scan were performed before the operation. Results 11 cases were unilateral and solitary. There were welt vessel signs in 7 cases, air meniscus sign in 3 cases, halo sign in 3 cases, tail signs in 2 cases, and prominent pulmonary artery sign in 1 case. Delayed enhancement of PSP was found in 5 patients. Con-clusion PSP occurs in women, imaging has certain characteristics, but is lack of specific signs, often solitary nodule, clear boundary, usually round-like,maybe having a lobulated shape. Conclusion is rare, and delayed enhancement appears after inten-sification. Comprehensive analysis can improve preoperative diagnosis, and diagnosis is still dependent on pathological examina-tion.
