Abstract:Objective To explore the value of manually injected contrast agent combined with fluoroscopic triggering technique in hepatic dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI.Methods 70 patients according to the order of treatment were divided into two groups, with 35 cases in ench group. All patients underwent hepatic dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI.Group A was adopted with hand injection contrast agent; group B was treated with high pressure injection contrast agent. The fluoroscopic triggering tech-nique controlling the scanning start time was applied in all dynamically enhanced scanning for getting the liver arterial phase ima -ges.The quality of liver arterial phase images of both groups was evaluated by two radiologists, and the difference of the image quality between two groups was compared. Results There was no significant difference in signal intensity and contrast noise ratio (CNR)of abdominal aorta, superior mesenteric artery measured in liver arterial phase images of A, B two groups(t =1.74, 1.16,1.37;P >0.05).There was no significant difference in subjective evaluation results of images from two groups(χ2=0.35,P >0.05).It had a good coherence for subjective score(Kappa=0.82,P <0.05).Conclusion It is a kind of more e-conomical and practical way to adopt manually injected contrast medium combined with fluoroscopic triggering technology in hepat -ic dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI.This method can effectively obtain excellent hepatic arterial phase images, and make the en-hancement effect similar to that of high pressure injection.
