Diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and color Doppler ultrasonography in patients with cervical lymph node metastasis of thyroid carcinoma

Abstract：Objective To evaluate diagnostic value of ultrasonography and color Doppler ultrasonography in patients with cer -vical lymph node metastasis of thyroid carcinoma .Methods 100 patients with cervical lymph node metastasis who underwent treatment in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2017 were enrolled in this study .All patients underwent contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and color Doppler ultrasonography .All images were reviewed and analyzed .Results The detection rate of malig-nant nodules was 69%.The detection rate of malignant nodules was 63%by color Doppler ultrasonography .The detection rate of malignant nodules was higher than that of color Doppler ultrasonography .The color Doppler detection rate of lymph node dissection and lymph node fusion were 73.0%, 76.0% and 70.0% respectively.The detection rate of lymph node dissection and lymph node fusion were 89.0%, 92.0%and 86.0%respectively by ultrasonography , and the detection rate of contrast-enhanced ultra-sonography was higher than that of color Doppler ultrasonography .The detection rate of color Doppler ultrasonography and ultra-sonography were 43.0% and 27.0%, respectively.The detection rate of ultrasonography was lower than that of color Doppler Compared with the same diagnostic method , the positive rate of multiple lymph node metastases of color Doppler ultrasonography and contrast-enhanced ultrasonography was higher than that of single lymph node metastasis .Compared with different diagnostic methods, the positive rate of multiple lymph node metastases was higher than that of color Doppler the positive rate of the two methods was comparable ( P <0.05).Conclusion Compared with color Doppler ultrasonography , the detection rate of lymph node metastasis is much higher than that of color Doppler ultrasonography , which is very important for doctors'treatment plan .
