Abstract:Objective To investigate the significance of Doppler ultrasonography in detecting carotid and lipids in hypertensive patients .Methods A total of 66 hypertensive patients treated in hospital from April 2014 to December 2016 were selected as the study group.32 healthy subjects were selected as the control group .The carotid artery hemodynamics and blood lipid levels were measured by color Doppler ultrasonography in two groups of carotid and internal carotid arteries , carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) and plaque. Results The diameter of carotid artery in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the con -trol group. The IMT thickness was significantly higher than that of the control group .The detection rate of plaque was significantly higher than that of the control group ( P <0.05).The PSV and SR of the carotid and internal carotid arteries in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group , while the RI was significantly larger than that in the control group ( P <0.05).With the increase of blood pressure series , the thickness of carotid artery IMT , plaque detection rate and RI gradu-ally increased, while the PSV and SR decreased gradually , between the subgroups of hypertension , P <0.05.The level of choles-terol and triglyceride in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P >0.05).Conclusion Clinical use of color Doppler ultrasonography in patients with hypertension to determine the degree of carotid atherosclerosis to de -termine whether it has arteriosclerosis , for clinical intervention in time to provide a reference .
