Abstract:Objective To investigate correlation between multi-slice spiral CT features of pulmonary focal ground glass density nodules and benign or malignant lesions. Methods 82 patients with pulmonary focal ground glass density nodules were selected in hospital from December 2011 to June 2014.41 patients were pneumonia as control group (benign lesions).41 patients were lung cancer as observation group (malignant lesions).Patients underwent multi-slice spiral CT examination.Morphology and internal structure of lesions were compared between two groups.Correlation between multi-slice spiral CT features of pulmonary focal ground glass density nodules and benign or malignant lesions was analyzed. Results More lesions were 1 ~ 2.9 cm in control group while more lesions were ≥3,0 cm in observation group.More lesions were patchy in control group while more lesions were irregular, lobulated, circular in observation group. All lesions were fuzzy in control group while more lesions were light whole, burr, coarse in observation group,Less lesions were pleural thickening in control group while more lesions were pleural indentation and pleural thickening in observation group. All lesions were density Ⅰ in control group while more lesions were density Ⅱand Ⅲ in observation group.More lesions were not air bronchogram in control group while more lesions were air bronchogram in observation group.Lesions in observation group were significantly bigger than control group.Differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion Multi-slice spiral CT features of pulmonary focal ground glass density nodules have significant correlation with benign or malignant lesions, which is helpful to improve accuracy in diagnosis of diseases. That is worthy of clinical use.
