Establishment of a model for differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules

Abstract：Objective To establish the model of benign and malignant thyroid nodules in differential diagnosis, and to observe the clinical value of ultrasonography in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules.Methods 200 patients with thyroid cancer and 200 patients with benign thyroid focal lesions from January 2013 to April 2016 in our hospital were selected as the research objects.We established the objective thyroid benign and malignant nodules ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of model, and observed diagnosis situation of ultrasonic on the patients.Results On the ultrasonography of benign and malignant thyroid lesions only echo, two groups had no significant difference, the remainings including vascular, micro calcification, orientation, composition, edge and halo were different, P<0.05.Ultrasound parameters in the diagnosis of thyroid disease only in the specific degree was low, the sensitivity of the remaining parameters, the positive predictive value and negative predictive value were higher.The total score of benign thyroid lesions was (2.3±0.6).The total score of ultrasound diagnosis of malignant thyroid lesions was (8.6±1.2), the two groups were statistically significant, P<0.05.Conclusion Ultrasound diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules has significant differences, the clinical diagnosis of thyroid nodules can be based on the nature of the diagnosis of thyroid nodules.
