Abstract:Objective To evaluate the MSCT characteristics of adenolymphoma of parotid gland. Methods 37 patients with parotid adenolymphoma verified by histopathology were collected. The clinical and CT feature were retrospectively analyzed, and lesion location, size, quantity, shape, density and enhancing patterns were mainly observerd. Results 37 patients (36 males and 1 female), with an average age of 59.4 years, were found a total of 103 lesions, 17 cases of unilateral single, multiple of 20 cases, all lesions occurred in the inferioring quadrant of parotid superficial lobes.Lesions were round, oval, lobulated mass lesion, 96 lesions appeared a slightly high density, 5 lesions were shown low density, 2 lesions showed density, necrosis, capsule of different level, of which 82 focal areas wrere capsule of the crack sample.Enhanced scan showed "quickly forward and quickly quit" performance in 101 lesions, 25 cases of lesions were surrounded by vessels, including 6 cases of lesions that were traversed by small vessels.9 cases of which were combined with cervical lymph node enlargemeng. Conclusion The parotid adenolymphomas occurs in older men, often being multiple, is located in the inferioring quadrant of parotid superficial lobes.MSCT performance has a certain characteristic.Analyzing the imaging manifestations and combined with clinical data can help to the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the disease.
