Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical cvalue of stellar detector, dual-source CT personalized contrast injection protocols in head and neck vascular diseases. Methods The clinical data of 78 patients were prospectively collected from February 2015 to November 2016, who were clinically suspected and underwent head and neck vascular diseases in our hospital head and neck CTA.All patients were treated with individualized contrast agent injection.Subjective quality of image quality was evaluated by 4-point method. The CT value, signal to noise ratio (SNR) and contrast to noise ratio (CNR) of the image were evaluated objectively. Results Of the 78 patients, there were 5 cases of anterior communicating aneurysms, 7 cases of middle cerebral artery aneurysms, 1 case of posterior cerebral aneurysms, 2 cases of multiple intracranial aneurysms, 5 cases of arteriovenous malformations, 18 cases of posterior communicating artery dysplasia, 5 cases of fenestration deformity, atherosclerosis and stenosis or occlusion in 23 cases, carotid body tumor in 3 cases, and no abnormality in 9 cases.Subjective image quality score was 3.83±0.41, 3.78±0.40 respectively. The CT values of all images were higher than those of 300 HU, which met the needs of clinical diagnosis.CNR was 32.1±8.1, 35.9±10.7, 25.5±10.0, 18.2±8.5, respectively. Conclusion Photon detector with dual source CT head and neck vascular imaging personalized contrast injection protocols is simple and convenient operation, which has some clinical value in the diagnosis of vascular lesions of the head and neck.
