The radiographic features on 64 CT of aquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) combining pneumocystis pneumonia

Abstract：Objective To study the radiographic features on 64 row CT of AIDS combining pneumocystis pneumonia. Methods The radiographic features of 8 cases diagnosised AIDS combining pneumocystis pneumonia were retrospectively analyzed. Results The imaging findings on CT of pneumocystis pneumonia: 1) 8 cases were ground glass opacity; 2) 6 cases showed paving stone sign; 3) 4 cases reveled lung air sac sign; 4) 3 cases were cord-strip-like sign consist of bronchus and vessel bundle; and 5) 2 cases manifested crescent sign. Conclusion Pneumocystis pneumonia should be taken into account when AIDS patients with above-mentioned typical features.
