Abstract:Objective To evaluate measurement reproducibility of MTRasym value in amide proton transfer (APT) imaging of health subjects. Methods 11 health subjects underwent APT imaging(between 7 days and 30 days) and the image analysis was performed using the Interactive Data Language (IDL, ITT Visual Information Solutions, Boulder, CO, USA). Regions of each location were carefully delineated by an experienced radiologist at the target areas of craniocerebral basal ganglia level. Repeatability between readers for each target areas was assessed by intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland-Altman analysis. The results between the two measurements were analyzed by paired-sample t test. One way ANOVA was used to compare the difference of MTRasym value among the four ROI at basal ganglia level. Results No statistical significance was found among different target areas. Great agreement was shown in measuring MTRasym value in amide proton transfer (APT) imaging of health subjects. Conclusion MTRasym measurement has good inter- and intra-observer agreement in all locations.
