Abstract:Objective To investigate the applied value of ultrasound-guided pericardial catheter drainage. Methods The data of 118 patients with pericardial effusion underwent ultrasound-guided pericardial catheter drainage were retrospectively analyzed. We compared heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation of 118 patients before and after intervention. Results The clinical symptoms of all the patients were obviously relieved after intervention, the heart rate decreased from (91.6±12.5) bpm to (84.5±8.6) bpm (P<0.05), and the systolic blood pressure rose from (104.2±16.3) mmHg to (107.6±13.5) mmHg (P<0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided puncture and drainage of the pericardial catheter has the characteristics of real-time display, accurate positioning, safe and effective, which is worthy of clinical application.
