Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of echocardiography on right ventricular function in patients with chronic obstruc -tive pulmonary disease ( COPD) .Methods 90 patients with COPD , who were treated in our hospital from February 2012 to Feb-ruary 2015 , were included in the observation group , and 90 healthy subjects were selected as the control group .Echocardiography was used to compare the right heart Function of the indicators for testing and evaluation .Results There was no significant differ-ence between the observation group and the control group in the systolic velocity and right ventricular area of the right atrioventric -ular valve annulus ( P >0.05).The longitudinal strain value of the basal segment of the right ventricle in the observation group and right atrioventricular valve ring systolic displacement were significantly smaller than the control group , the difference was sig-nificant, with statistical significance,P <0.05.The area of the right ventricle, the diameter of the right ventricle, the diameter of the right ventricle , the diameter of the right ventricle , the diameter of the right ventricle , and pulmonary artery diameter were sig-nificantly larger than the control group , the difference was significant, with statistical significance ( P <0.05).There was no sig-nificant difference between the observation group and the control group in the values of Doppler a wave peak , tissue Doppler e wave peak , right atrioventricular valve diastolic A wave peak , right atrial diastolic early E wave peak and E/e value ( P <0畅05 ) .However , the E/A value of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group , the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05).The exercise index of the right ventricular myocardium in the observation group was signifi -cantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05).Conclusion Echocardio-graphy can be used to evaluate the clinical function of patients with COPD order to provide the basis for clinical treatment and prognosis of patients .
