Abstract:Objective To analystic the ultrasonographic features of high frequency ultrasound and ultrasound elastography of thyroid mini carcinoma and benign nodular lesions , and to investigate the application value of high frequency ultrasound and ultra-sound elastography in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules .Methods 99 patients (116 thyroid nodules)having thyroidectomy in our hospital were selected .In the judgment of nodules , Semi-quantitative score was used for high frequency ultra-sound , and five-level grading method was used for ultrasound elastography .Pathological examination was considered as gold stand-ard, and sensitivity , specificity and accuracy were calculated .Results After pathological examination , there were 86 cases of benign nodules and 30 cases of malignant nodules in 116 thyroid nodules .In the diagnosis of thyroid nodules , the sensitivity of high frequency ultrasound was 60.0%, the specificity was 69.8%,and the accuracy was 67.2%.While, the sensitivity of ultra-sound elastography was 93.3%, the specificity was 91.9%, and the accuracy was 92.2%.Conclusion The diagnostic accura-cy of ultrasound elastography has an obvious advantage over high frequency ultrasound , which is worthy of further promotion of clinical use .
