Abstract：Objective To observe the CT findings of atlantoaxial joint degeneration and its growth with age .Methods Data of 219 patients with positive clinical symptoms of atlantoaxial joint for CT scan were acquired , then, we reformed the image by several age groups and statistical analysis .Results The degeneration of atlantoaxial joint has the early , universal and sequential characteristics .Conclusion CT manifestations of atlantoaxial joint degenerative changes reflect its pathological process and pro -vide valuable information for clinical treatment .
