Abstract:Objective To explore the feasibility of DKI image in detecting changes of spinal cord in cervical spondylotic my -elopathy .Methods Cervical routine MRI and DKI were performed in 20 healthy volunteers and 20 patients with cervical spondy-lotic myelopathy.Values for FA, MD and MK were calculated, and compared between the control group and experimental group , separately for white matter and gray matter .Results DKI parameter values of control did not see significant difference ( P <0.05).Compared with control group, experimental group existed significant difference ( P <0.05), the FA-WM, MK-WM and MK-GM values were lower ( t =-2.447, 2.898, 4.164).Conclusion DKI can provide information about the microstructure of the spinal cord changes .The MK is superior to the FA in the CSM gray evaluation .It is worth to further study to provide the refer-ence for the early diagnosis and early treatment .
