Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical and radiological features of cerebral venous infract .Methods Twenty-one ca-ses with cerebral venous infract were collected and the corresponding clinical and imaging findings were retrospective analyzed . Results Intracranial venous thrombosis risk factors were found in fourteen cases , mainly for the oral contraceptives , otitis media, puerperal, etc; They presented with headache , vomiting, seizures, limb dysfunction, aphasia, blurred vision, etc.Parenchymal lesions located in the cerebral cortex and subcortical in nineteen cases ( bilateral lesions in six cases , involved the cerebellum in 2 cases), located in bilateral thalamus in two cases .Hemorrhagic infarctions were found in seventeen cases .Multiple sinus thrombus were involved in fifteen cases .Conclusion The clinical manifestations of cerebral venous infarction lack of specificity . The venous infarction should be taken into consideration when the abnormal distribution of cerebral infarction /hemorrhage com-bined with the high-risk factors of thrombosis were found and MRV/CTV is helpful for diagnosis .
