The contrast of different tube voltage in the image effect of chest digital X-ray photography and the influence on patients

Abstract：Objective To observe the image effect of chest digital X-ray photography and the influence on patients in different tube voltage.Methods An adult chest film body was chosen as the research object.Three kinds of digital chest X-ray tube volt-age 80 kV, 100 kV and 120 kV were used to done exposure.And then the die body incident dose, the relative noise value, the contrast to noise ratio and the effective dose were measured in each pipe under voltage.Results The effective dose and the die body incident dose both gradually reduce with the increase of tube voltage while the automatic exposure control gear keep still.The relation of the effective dose and the die body incident dose was positively correlation.The relative noise value will reduce gradual-ly and the contrast noise ratio will increase gradually with the increase of tube voltage when the automatic exposure keep still. Conclusion The high tube voltage should be tested in order to reduce the patients’ radiation dose on the premise of not affecting image quality in the chest digital X-ray photography.
