Abstract:Objective To discuss the value of ultrasonography in qualitative diagnosis of salivary gland tumors. Methods 120 cases of salivary gland tumor were selected as the experimental objects, the postoperative pathological diagnosis results were set as the gold standard. The accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of ultrasound were analyzed during the retrospective analysis of the characteristics of ultrasound images of benign and malignant tumor. Results The characteristics of benign tumors ultrasound images were regular shape, the diameter was more than 3 cm, clear boundaries, complete envelope, good activity, internal echo uniformity, there were no obvious blood flow or only a small amount of blood flow under Doppler; The characteristics of malignant tumor ultrasound images were irregular shape, the diameter was less than 3 cm, the boundary was not clear, poor activity, uncom-pleted envelope or no envelope, there was a large amount of blood flow under Doppler. The accuracy rate of ultrasound diagnosis of benign and malignant salivary gland tumors was 80%, the sensitivity and specificity for malignant tumor were 64.71% and 95.34%.Conclusion High frequency color ultrasound can show the images of salivary gland tumors and blood flow signals clearly, the accuracy, sensitivity and specificity are high in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors. It can be used as the preferred means for qualitative diagnosis of salivary gland tumors.
