Upper airway research by CT scan of OSAHS patients

Abstract：Objective To investigate methods and clinical value of CT Scan of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome ( OSAHS ) and normal population at time of awaken .Methods CT scans were performed in OSAHS patients and normal population .We measured the minimum cross-sectional of upper respiratory tract , length, anteroposterior , diameter.Using statistical software SPSS 17.0 statistical software, we processed and analyzed the data .Results 1) There were many differences in several narrow planes among the control group , the mild to moderate group, and severe group;2) Among 80 patients, 27 patients presented with 1 naeeow zone, there was the narrow arrears of 2 adjacent planes in 7 patients, 3 narrow planes in 47 patients, and 4 narrow planes in 7 patients .Conclusion CT examination is of great significance in clinical treatment .
