Diagnosis value of the research of 18 F-FDG PET-CT scan on patients with sarcoidosis

Abstract：Objective To analyze the diagnosis value of 18 F-FDG PET-CT scan on patients with sarcoidosis , in order to im-prove the understanding of the disease .Methods PET-CT features of 14 pulmonary sarcoidosis cases proven by clinical therapy and pathology were retrospectively analyzed .Results All of 14 cases presented lymph nodes enlargement , 13 cases presented mediastinal lymph nodes and bilateral hilar lymph nodes symmetry enlargement , 7 cases with abdominal and retroperitoneal lymph nodes enlargement , 12 cases with pulmonary lesions , 2 cases with liver and spleen involved , 5 cases with subcutaneous nodules , the above lesions radioactivity uptake are increased .Conclusion From the point of metabolism , PET-CT could more clearly show the imaging characteristics of sarcoidosis , and other lesions can be found in addition to the chest , help to improve the diag-nostic accuracy .
