The value of clinical manifestations and echocardiogram characteristics in arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyop-athy/dysplasia diagnosis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of clinical manifestations and echocardiogram features in arrhythmo -genic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia ( ARVC/D) .Methods The clinical manifestations and echocardiogram char-acteristics were analyzed in 18 patients with ARVC/D in our hospital .Results The resting electrocardiogram showed 13 cases of right axis deviation , limb showed low voltage;T-wave inversion was found in 12 cases of V1~V3 leads and so on .Echocardio-gram examination revealed 17 cases of right ventricular enlargement;12 cases of right ventricular outflow tract widened;2 cases of left ventricle increased;12 cases of diffuse thinning of the right ventricular and wall motion weakened and so on .Conclusion The clinical manifestations and echocardiogram features can diagnose ARVC /D more accurately , and play an significantly guid-ance in the treatment and followed-up observation of this disease .
