Abstract:Objective To explore the CT features of aortic intramural hematoma ( AIH) and the value of MSCT angiography in the diagnosis of AIH and its follow-up.Methods The clinical and imaging data of 17 cases with AIH were analyzed retrospec-tively .The CT findings of 13 cases were follow-up.Results According to Stanford classification , there were type A in 3 patients and type B in 14 patients. The CT findings showed the aortic wall thicken , with an average of 7.55 mm.The CT value of the thicken aortic wall ranged from 40 HU to 81 HU (average 67.7 HU).Penetrating ulcer was seen in 6 cases.Calcification ingress-ion was moued in side in 2 cases.Among the 13 cases with follow-up, the lesions were worse in 2 cases, better in 3 cases and sta-ble in 5 cases.9 cases received operation or stent implanted .Conclusion MSCT has practical value in the diagnosis and follow-up of aortic intramural hematoma .
