Abstract:Objective To explore the value of the combination of specific sequences of magnetic resonance imaging ( MRI)in the diagnosis of primary cerebral lymphoma .Methods The clinical and MRI imaging data of 18 patients with primary cerebral lymphoma were respectively studied . The sequences included T 1 WI, T2 WI, enhanced-T1 WI, DWI, MRS, SWI, DTI, ADC and MRV.To find the different value of them , characteristic signals of cerebral lesions were analyzed and compared among the se-quences.Results The lesions were found soliary in 12 cases and multiple in 6 cases.29 lesions were found altogether , in which 25 lesions were supratentorial ,and 4 lesions were infratentorial .The lesions presened slightly low or equal signal in T 1 WI, and slightly high or equal signal in T 2 WI.All of the lesions were enhanced significantly ,in which 3lesions existed central necrosis , and the the rest of the lesions showed homogeneous enhanced .The lesions showed high or slightly high signal in DWI , and oppo-site sign in ADC .MRS showed that Cho was increased , Cr and NAA were slightly decreased .SWI showed no vessel in the le-sions, while the vessels around the lesions were pushed displacement .FA of the lesions in DTI were decreased ,and the fiber bundie in DTT were disrupted .In essence, tumors had the FA value reduction , DTT in tumors had significantly reduced area fiber bundle .Co nclusion The combination of specific sequences of MRI can do a pretty good job in the diagnosis of primary cerebral lymphoma.
