The contrastive research of ultrasonic elastography and PET/CT in diagnozsis thyroid of cancer

Abstract：Objective To explore the value of ultrasonic elastography (UE) and PET/CT in diagnosing thyroid cancer . Methods 78 patients with 92 thyroid cancer lesions confirmed by pathology were retrospectively studied .All the patients underwent UE and PET/CT ,the accuracy between UE ,PET/CT and the combination of the two were compared .Results The accuracy of UE ,PET/CT and the combination of the two was 85 .9% ,73 .9% ,93 .5% ,respectively .Significant difference existed in dignosing thyroid cancer between UE and PET/CT .The accuracy of combination of the two was sig‐nificantly higher than either UE or PET/CT .Conclusion UE was more accuracy than PET/CT in diagnosing thyroid cancer ,the both methods complement each other and it can be a great help for improving the accuracy of preoperative diag‐nosing by combining the two .
