Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of three‐dimensional speckle tracking imaging (3D‐STI) in evaluating sys‐tolic function in patients with uremia of different left ventricular configurations .Methods Fifty‐seven patients with uremia were divided according to different configurations of the left ventricular including left ventricular normal group (LVN group ,n = 27) and left ventricular hypertrophy group (LVH group ,n = 30) .Thirty‐one healthy volunteers were selected as controls .3D‐STI was used to obtain global left ventricular longitudinal systolic peak strain (GLS) ,global radial systolic peak strain (GRS) ,global circumferential systolic peak systolic strain (GCS) ,global area systolic peak strain (GAS) .In‐dicators were compared between the three groups .Results Compared with the control group ,GLS significantly decreased in LVN group ( P < 0 .05) ,GCS ,GRS and GAS showed no significant change ( P > 0 .05) .GLS ,GCS ,GRS and GAS of LVH group decreased ( P < 0 .05) .Compared with LVN group ,GLS ,GRS and GAS decreased in LVH group ( P <0.05) .Conclusion 3D‐STI technique can early ,sensitively reflect the change of left ventricular systolic function in pa‐tients with uremia ,and provide a reference for clinical treatment .
