Abstract:Objective To explore the value of muti‐planar reconstruction (MPR) with 64‐slices spiral CT in diagnosing adenocarcinoma in situ (AIS) .Methods The CT manifestations of pathologically‐proved AIS were analyzed .MPR images were obtained with 3D reconstruction software ,and the findings on the MPR images were compared with primary cross‐sectional images .Results Compared with cross‐sectional images ,the display rates of ground glass opacity ,lobulation , spiculation were significantly better on the reconstructed images ( P <0 .05) ,whereas ,the display rates of pleural inden‐tation ,vascular convergence ,vacuole sign were no significantly different ( P >0 .05) .Conclusion MPR with spiral CT can show the morphology of AIS more precisely than cross‐sectional image ,which could benefit the diagnosis of AIS .
