Abstract:Objective To study the application of the 320‐slice CT for evaluation of left ventricular function .Methods Left ventricular function including end‐diastolic volume ,end‐systolic volume ,stroke volume and ejection fraction of 86 pa‐tiens with primary hypertension were evaluated by 320‐slice CT ,and those indexes were compared with echocardiographic findings .Results There was a high correlation ( r =0 .76~0 .90) between 320‐slice CT and echocardiographic in the de‐termination of left ventricular function indexes ,and there was no statistically significant difference ( P >0 .05) .Conclu‐sion 320‐slice CT is accurate and reliable in evaluation of left ventricular function ,and it has a high correlation with echo‐cardiography ,320‐slice CT can also evaluate coronary situation simultaneously .320‐slice CT has high clinical value for di‐agnosis of heart disease .
